BOCA RATON, Fla. — The West Boca Youth Baseball (WBYB) community and the greater Boca Raton area are grieving the sudden passing of Eric Moskoff, a devoted husband, loving father, and beloved youth coach whose life was defined by his service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to nurturing young athletes.
Moskoff’s death has created a profound sense of loss for his family—his wife Shannon and son Aiden—and the countless children, parents, and fellow coaches who knew him as the heart of the local baseball scene.
Eric Moskoff was best known for his passionate, impactful role with West Boca Youth Baseball. For years, he was far more than a coach; he was a mentor who focused intently on character development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
“He believed in encouraging every single player,” a fellow WBYB coach shared. “Eric celebrated effort as much as achievement. He created an environment where kids felt genuinely supported, confident, and inspired. He had a special kind of patience and positivity, and his authentic love for the game and the kids he mentored was absolutely infectious.”
His influence extended seamlessly into his family life. Eric was a devoted husband to Shannon and a loving father to Aiden, who was the absolute light of his life. He took immense pride in his role as a family man, creating a home filled with laughter, encouragement, and unconditional love—memories his family will now hold as their most precious treasure.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Eric Moskoff’s life will be held on Friday, January 23, at 11:00 AM at Bnai Torah Congregation, located at 6261 NW 18th Street in Boca Raton. Following the service, burial will take place at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach.
